Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Stream Samurai. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Stream Samurai website, application, and services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Adult Supervision LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), a New Mexico limited liability company.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Stream Samurai helps users manage streaming service subscriptions by:

• Issuing virtual payment cards, one per streaming service, through our card-issuing partner (Lithic Technologies, Inc.)
• Setting spending limits and activating/pausing those cards according to a rotation schedule you configure
• Charging a flat monthly subscription fee for use of the Service

Stream Samurai is not a bank, is not a money transmitter, and does not hold or custody your funds. Virtual cards we issue are funded directly by your own linked bank account. We never have access to or control over your bank account balance beyond the read-only connection described in Section 4.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Bank Account Linking

To use the Service, you must link a bank account through our banking data partner, Plaid Inc. This connection is read-only and used solely to verify that a valid funding source exists and to enable card funding. We do not store your bank login credentials; these are handled entirely by Plaid under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Identity Verification (KYC)

Before any virtual card is issued, you must complete identity verification through our card-issuing partner, Lithic, which may require your legal name, date of birth, address, and Social Security Number. This information is submitted directly to Lithic for verification purposes and is not stored by Stream Samurai in full form. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We reserve the right to deny service to anyone who fails or does not complete identity verification.

6. Virtual Cards and Spend Limits

Each virtual card we issue is:

• Restricted to a specific streaming service merchant category
• Subject to a monthly spending limit we set, intended to cover that service’s subscription cost
• Activated or paused automatically according to the rotation schedule you configure, or manually adjusted by you

We set spend limits based on publicly available pricing information for each streaming service and may not always reflect the exact price of your specific subscription tier. You are responsible for confirming that your card’s spend limit is sufficient for your chosen subscription tier. If a charge is declined due to an insufficient spend limit, we are not liable for any resulting lapse in your streaming service access, though we will make reasonable efforts to identify and correct systematic pricing discrepancies.

7. Subscription Fee and Billing

Use of the Service requires a recurring monthly subscription fee, currently $4.99/month, billed through our payment processor, Stripe, to the payment method you provide. This fee is separate from and unrelated to any streaming service charges, which are billed directly by the streaming service to your linked bank account via the virtual card.

Subscription fees are billed automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or our billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

If a subscription payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may retry the charge. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of Service access, including pausing of active virtual cards.

8. Rotation Scheduling and Estimated Dates

The Service allows you to schedule when a virtual card is activated or paused, including automatic scheduling based on streaming show premiere and finale dates sourced from third-party entertainment databases. Some dates, particularly season finale or “end” dates, are estimates based on available data and may not be exact. We clearly indicate when a date is an estimate. You are responsible for reviewing your schedule and may adjust it at any time.

We are not liable for inaccuracies in third-party show data or for any resulting scheduling errors, though we make reasonable efforts to correct known issues.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to use an issued virtual card for any purpose other than paying for the streaming service it was issued for (cards are merchant-restricted and such attempts will be automatically declined)
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
• Provide false information during identity verification
• Use the Service to facilitate fraud or money laundering

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on and integrates with third-party providers, including Plaid (bank connectivity), Lithic (card issuance), Stripe (payment processing), and The Movie Database (show and entertainment data). Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SCHEDULING, PRICING, OR SHOW-DATE INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADULT SUPERVISION LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF ACCESS TO A STREAMING SERVICE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN SUBSCRIPTION FEES IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or as required by our banking or card-issuing partners.

Upon termination, any active virtual cards will be paused/closed, and your subscription billing will stop at the end of the current period.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict of law principles.
